Woohoo I’ve been hearted!
I just realized that ever since I updated the permalink structure, the comment and single post pages haven’t been working.
That’s fixed now. Oh, web development craziness. I will forever be a student. Sooooo, I know that’s why all you folks have been holding out on commenting (right? right?).
I’m really looking forward to the weekend.

Howdy! It’s been a few weeks.
Here are some out-takes from a recent job. I got to shoot these beautiful interiors in an awesome vintage/antiques boutique.
Shot some fun fashiony portraits too. More to come.
Here are some images I shot while I was in Paris. I wish I lived in Montmartre, it was my favorite arrondissement by far though the Montparnasse cemetary was also really cool.
We saw the corner market from Amelie. It was so funny and cute, the guy that owns the place totally had the movie posters all over and pictures of himself with the actors and stuff.
What is this place? Well, I’m updating the “look” and “feel” of the blog so it may look a little weirdo over the next few days while I go through some stuff I want to change. Mostly I’m trying to figure out how I want to deal with posting images, and finding some way to streamline the process a bit because I have A LOT. Should look good when I’m done though. Nice and simple.

One of my favorite blogs, Design*Sponge featured my work yesterday! Thanks to Grace who inspires me daily with her amazing blog.
I’m happy today.
I’ve kind of kept this on the relative d.l. but on March 18 I am going to France and Italy!!!! I’m finally allowing myself to get excited. I got my new passport in the mail a couple days ago and aside from being disgusted by the horrific color balance on the picture (my face is magenta city), I was overwhelmed with excitement that in just a few weeks I’m going to be wandering the streets of Paris.
This is Snoop Dogg making mashed potatoes with Martha Stewart. It is really awkward.
I’ll be updating and adding more fun stuff to the bloggie-blog today and tomorrow. I’m excited to get this going. There’s a few kinks I need to fix here and there. If anyone reading notices anything weirdo, please let me know!
Thanks!

I’ve already posted this on The Postmodern Cat Lady, another blog I contribute to with some other awesome photographers and ladies.
This is a drawing of a photograph of Gary Busey on tv. I was flipping through the channels at my friend’s house while her kids were running around like psychos being hams for my camera. I did this for a class and in the process found that I really love drawing.
Being a photographer, I get used to the instantaneous nature of shooting. Drawing is the complete opposite of that and has helped me so much as an artist. It forces me to slow down and be a part of every line and smudge I make.
I’ve been working on trying to get the screen attributes just right. There’s a weird pixalization/mosaic thing that goes on especially when, as in the gary busey drawing, the image is in the middle of fading in or out.
This was some show about celebrity near-death experiences. Apparently Gary Busey had one. The image I took was a still photograph of G.B. they had up on the screen, they were telling the story of the crash as a Ken Burns effect was going on over the image. Classic.
