I’m actually going

I’ve kind of kept this on the relative d.l. but on March 18 I am going to France and Italy!!!! I’m finally allowing myself to get excited. I got my new passport in the mail a couple days ago and aside from being disgusted by the horrific color balance on the picture (my face is magenta city), I was overwhelmed with excitement that in just a few weeks I’m going to be wandering the streets of Paris.

This is Snoop Dogg making mashed potatoes with Martha Stewart.  It is really awkward.

  • You can go to Youtube, find the video, and then use the embed code to put that into your blog. For future reference.

  • France and Italy!? You lucky bastadge! So are you going solo or you going with friends/family/Joseph “Snuggies” E. or one of them weird guided tour groups. If I’ve learned anything from movies (and I haven’t) don’t stay at hostels and don’t ride alone in trains with weird Italian guys who try to grope you in tunnels… How long will you be out there?

    • I’m going with me mum. No guided tour groups. Never. I couldn’t deal with that.
We’re going for 2 weeks. Yay!
I keep thinking of European Vacation and all the shenanigans they get into. Too bad I probably can’t go to that one “high fashion” store and get crazy 80s new wave clothes. I love that part.

  • Wow, nothing like two criminals making smashed taters. That was ridiculous and hillarious! Thank you for sharing ;) I look forward to visiting your blog. You images and website are stunning.

  • Sorry, also meant to congratulate you on your trip! Look forward to seeing some amazing pics from it! I totally hear you with off color id’s whether it be work/school/passport/drivers license….color balance is all I’m asking for!!!!…lol :)

  • Ciao! Amico!
Alissa, I am so happy for you! Not just on the trip but on graduating as well! You have always been a great artist and I know you will go far in life. Tu sei una stella…Congratulazioni!

I went online to find out how to properly spell these cute Italian sayings I inserted above and I actually found these phrases online…

Fa cosi caldo qui o e la tua presenza Is it hot in here, or is it just you?

Questa è la tua risposta? Non mi ami più? Come mai puoi lasciarmi senza risolvere il nostro problema? Sono molto arrabbiata/o. Mi hai tradito. Is this your answer? Don’t you love me anymore? Why you can leave me without solving our problem? I am very sad. You betray me.

This must be the Italian “How to Pick Up Chicks”…

    Love,
    Danielle Riley
