paris

Here are some images I shot while I was in Paris. I wish I lived in Montmartre, it was my favorite arrondissement by far though the Montparnasse cemetary was also really cool.
We saw the corner market from Amelie. It was so funny and cute, the guy that owns the place totally had the movie posters all over and pictures of himself with the actors and stuff.

  • OK, so far everything in Europe looks very whitewashed and creepy. It has this hustle bustle look that everyone is so busy doing whatever that the world around them is cold. Or maybe that’s just how the pictures come off. I dunno. It scares me. I thought it would be more colorful and warm.

    • Ha! I know, I just realized that when the blog creates a thumbnail it fades the color drastically, it’s something with the compression. That’s yet another thing I need to figure out.
It was rainy and overcast almost the entire time but not thaaaat much. :)

    • ok, I messed with the colorspace settings, hopefully it makes a difference on other people’s monitors/browsers.

  • It’s the overcast then. It looks gloomy there. I just thought the buildings would be like yellow and red and green and look like impressionist paintings or something. I guess I have a distorted idea of Paris.

  • first image is my fave . . .
